It’s now time for a facial @MassageEnvy

Now is the best time to get a facial! My skin is so dry from the winter and I needed time to relax as well. In addition to great massages Massage Envy offers a great facial with @Murad SkinCare. They call the monthly plans in which you can get a massage or facial – personal wellness plans.  I do believe that a good massage or facial is the perfect way to relax and decompress! Memberships start at $59.99. The locations are very nice and clean and of course the facial was awesome. Not only did I receive a customized facial but a very nice neck, face and arm massage in addition. The products they use are great. They use Murad products which seemed very soothing. For me they used the Murad renewing cleanser, sensitive skin serum and the hydrodynamic moisturizer, which according to the website locks in moisture for 8 hours. Of course the staff was very attentive so you can tell them what you are looking for and what your skin needs and they can customize a facial for you.  My skin felt very moisturized and of course I felt like a million bucks…. Treat yourself today! In fact, Massage Envy is having a special, starting in July called Summer Glow. Starting July 5th through August 2nd, the Summer Glow offer gives guests $10 off a Murad Health Skin facial!

Summer Skin Care Finds @QVC

QVC has a lot of great products and just in time for summer here are a few of my must haves for glowing skin. QVC sent me the following products to test out and I am so glad they did as each has a specific purpose especially if you want your skin protected and glowing.

First up is Bare Minerals Prep Step Shield SPF 50 Daily Prep Lotion – While this product is meant to go under your make up as a SPF and primer for under make up I wear it alone. It is a lightweight lotion that is very nourishing and is easily blended.

St. Tropez Self-Tan Luxe Dry Oil –what I love about this line is the ease of use and natural looking tan it provides. All of the St. Tropez products are great. This dry oil is perfect if your skin is dry as it provides a bit of moisture. How many self tanners can say that? Grab this before it sells out.

Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals Gradual Glow Bronzer & Brush – self tanning on the face is tricky. At first when I saw this product I thought..no way! It is an immediate bronzer that develops into a natural self tan. My tip for this is to go lightly on the first try –don’t overdo it as it is like a mineral foundation.

Perricone MD No Bronzer Bronzer – This is a bronzing serum that you can customize. Make sure you shake the bottle prior to using and only use one or two drops at first – more if you want a deeper bronze.

These are just a few of the unique items QVC offers for summer skin. Check out more of their great products online here.

@DaveandBusters opening in Woburn #daveandbusterswoburn

Let the fun begin – Dave & Busters is opening in Woburn next Tuesday, May 22nd at 11 am! This  very fun entertainment destination has food, drinks, over 170 games and a very large sports bar with massive TVs.

I was invited to check out the new location this week and saw all the games (my favorite was the ski ball area) and got a taste of the large selection of food they have on the menu. Chef crafted menu items include the best cobb salad I have tasted!  They also offer a variety of burgers and fun pretzel dogs for the kids. The cocktails looked great as well but since this was a luncheon I did not indulge but plan to go back to try the strawberry watermelon magarita or maybe the adult snow cone.

Wednesdays are half price games and they have quite a selection of rooms for corporate meetings, birthday parties or team building activities. Dave & Busters Woburn is open seven days a week and might I suggest you try out the eat and play combo (deals start at $16.99)

Disclosure:  I was invited to attend a luncheon and tour of Dave & Busters and received a gift bag with a gift card. All opinions are my own.

Sunscreen Time @BareRepublic @COOLA_Sunscreen

Summer is coming and that means I am on the search for a good sunscreen. Of course you should use a facial sunscreen all year but in the summertime is when I am really in need of a quick dry spray for my kids who have never been able to sit still for a rub down of sunscreen lotion.  So glad I was able to test out COOLA and Bare Republic Sunscreens. I try to stay away from sunscreen that has oxybenzone in it and tend to lean toward more natural sunscreens.  COOLA is  a hypoallergenic, PABA, Paraben and Phthalate free sunscreen. I tested out the COOLA Sport SPF 50 unscented organic sunccare and the Bare Republic 30 Kids natural mineral sunscreen spray. I also tested out the Bare Republic  SPF 30 mineral sunscreen lotion. I loved all three. The face lotion went on a bit oily at first but then dried to a nice light lotion. COOLA sport spray is ultra sheer, antioxidant infused and has no synthetic fragrances. Bare Republic is chemical free -  it has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide as its ingredients. Check them out online! COOLA is also available at Target as well.
