Stocking Stuffer Ideas @CVS/Pharmacy #BlackFriday

You know I frequent CVS a lot! This time of year is my favorite as they line the isles with lots of goodies that make the perfect gifts ideas that are small, practical and affordable. From lip balms, like the ones below, to stacking bowls and bobbles you can find just about anything at CVS!

New at CVS is a great line from Hallmark. I picked up these cozy bowls – you can fill them with chocolate or give them as is as they are wrapped and ready to go. The Hallmark line includes plates, accessories and even adorable aprons for mom and child. When it comes to stuffing the stocking I am a traditionalist, meaning growing up that is where Santa gave us the essentials – like mittens, socks, toiletries, lip balm, etc. Of course CVS has those and more including a little book light that is sure to please the teens! Pick up all the essentials there.

Tis the season to step up your cosmetics routine: The skin care makeup @JaneIredale #musthavecosmetics

I am always on the lookout for make-up that works and a line that is natural. Especially as the holiday season is here you may want to know about Jane Iredale Cosmetics as they have a great selection of holiday kits and a great selection of lip sticks that are perfect as stocking stuffers this holiday season.

Here are my favorites:

Baby it’s cold outside @tartecosmetics to the rescue

Well, the winter weather is here in New England and for many that means dry skin and chapped lips. My favorite line of cosmetics has a great, must-have lip soother. It is not too early to start your holiday shopping. For teachers I love to send in a small gift card, a candle or something homemade from your child. I have started my Christmas Shopping and other things on my list

Yes, I know it’s early but I have started my Christmas shopping. Everywhere I went I heard holiday music in the stores this weekend. While some believe we need to celebrate one holiday at a time I am all for getting a head start.  Even Santa is at the mall already!

However, this year as my kids get older they are more about celebrating experiences. Of course gifts are nice too they say, but my older daughter requested a trip to Florida instead of presents! During the busy time of year we do have our favorite things to do – a trip to NYC, Festival of Trees (in my town I grew up in) and I would like to add a few things on my to do list for the kids. They would like to go back to Great Wolf Lodge and I would like to go back to a fun hotel we stayed at a year ago Cranwell Resort I would also like to venture to New Hampshire as well. Some things like spending time with family on a fun adventure cannot be wrapped up in a gift box or bag but the memories will last and that is on my list of holiday gifts to give this year.

What’s in your closet? @QVC comfy, trendy and easy to wear pieces for the holiday

No idea what to wear to the office when you have an evening gathering after work? What about what to wear for a fun shopping trip with the girls? QVC to the rescue. I don’t normally shop via the television but every once in a while I will be channel surfing and have noticed lately, they have some really nice items (plus you can go online to shop too)

Every year right before the holidays I head out with my two grade school friends for a shopping trip. I need something fun, fashionable and comfy to wear and here it is! These pieces from @QVC are really nice. I have worn the leather leggings on a number of occasions and get complements every time I wear them. Plus there are the most comfortable (not sticky) faux leather ones I have seen!

I am petite so I usually wear a heal anywhere I go and that is why the Sole Society Keyla Leather Hidden Wedge Ankle Boots is perfect. They are comfortable but the wedge gives me a bit of height! Top off the outfit with the Nicole Richie Collection Chiffon Top w Neckline Embellishment and it is an outfit for a day of shopping or an evening out. What I like about the top is the neckline detail as it is essentially a built in necklace. Simply add a pair of gold hoops and that is all you need to head out the door.
